Constituents

Index universe:

Companies listed on publicly traded exchanges that are defined as inventible and without restriction to international investors. Initial constituents selection is focused on evaluating companies from the three regional geographies - the Americas, Europe and Asia–Pacific to achieve representative balance where possible.
New IPOs must be trading for at least one full quarter for consideration.
A the ZagadaWaagstein Index Committee jointly determines final constituents.

Number of Constituents:

Constituents are primarily made up of information technology outsourcing (ITO) companies, business processing outsourcing (BPO) companies, contact center and call center companies comer and advisory and consulting companies engaged in onshore (within country), offshore and nearshore outsourcing activities. The main index contains 100 companies with Seven specialist regional, sector and composite indices.
The term “pure play” used in the Sub Index section below refers to companies who generate a substantial percentage of their revenues from concentrated ITO and BPO activities.

Selection Criteria:

Constituents must demonstrate market leadership in two major service globalization (outsourcing) categories: Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Secondary consideration is given to industry support service: i.e. Human Capital, CRM, Data Manage Services, and Data Processing etc.

Constituents must be of investment quality with acceptable liquidity and market capitalization.

Constituents with ITO, BPO or support service companies, subsidiaries or units must represent a minimum of 20% (preferable 25%) of parent’s revenues.

Review Period

Constituents are reviewed quarterly for inclusion or deletion. Final decision on inclusion or deletion is made by the Zagada Waagstein Index Committee.

Addition Criteria: constituents must meet the Index Universe rules outlined in the section above. Constituents in the main index must be defined as pure play ITO/BPO. Constituents must meet subsequent market cap, liquidity, pricing, and free float measurements finally decided as index rules.

Removal Criteria: constituents seriously violating inclusion criteria. Constituents engaged in M&A activity or restructuring that materially affect the 20% minimum inclusion requirement. Zagada Waagstein Index Committee decision to rebalance the index.
